How To Make Use Of Videos To Maximize Your Online Profits

Using videos to promote an online business has become an integral
part of Internet marketing over the last few years. But the way
you present your videos to your website visitors will make a big
difference as to how they respond to them, so it is important to
get some of the simple things right.

There are three points that are worth bearing in mind when
preparing a video for publication on your website. They are:

1. Make it pleasant to watch.

No, you don't have to spend a fortune on setting up a studio. All
you need to do is to pay attention to the small variables that
can make a big difference to the quality of the video.

For example, make sure that there is no background noise - or as
little noise as possible. Shut your windows, turn off your
television, shut the door of your room and turn off any noisy
appliances while making the video.

Think about the lighting. If you are indoors, avoid glaring
lights, and minimize shadows. Take some trial shots and check
them out first. Then, adjust the lighting to suit your
environment.

For outdoor shots, don't have the sun either shining straight in
your face (unless you are playing a cool dude and wearing eye
shades). Also, don't have the sun shining into the camera. A
shady spot on a bright day makes good sense.

2. Provide your viewers with a script.

This is something most people neglect to do, but providing a
script of the video has several advantages. Firstly, if you use a
script it will help you to make a smoother presentation even if
you don't stick to it word for word. No one wants to have to sit
through a 5 minute video that consists mostly of humming and
hawing.

A script will also prevent you from forgetting key details and
having to do a retake.

You can also publish your script alongside your video, or offer
it as part of an upgrade package.

3. Don't force people to watch your video.

You might be tempted by the auto-play feature when you upload
your videos. Try to avoid this temptation because not everybody
who visits your website will want to watch your video. If they
click on your link and hear a video start to play automatically,
they will probably disappear very fast and not come back!

Offer people the choice of watching the video or not. Add some
text that introduces what the video is about. Again, if you have
published a script, people will then be able to choose whether to
watch or read in order to get the information you are providing.
You might also want to think about offering an audio-only version
of your recording for those people who prefer to listen without
watching.

There are numerous ways that you can make online video much more
effective (and profitable); but offering a comfortable viewing
experience, with text and audio alternatives, without trying to
force visitors to view your video will make the overall
experience more attractive to your website visitors.

Blog Commenting Etiquette - Who Knew??

Most established bloggers will tell you there is a good way and a

bad way  blog commenting.

There are some general rules that both the
blogger and the commenter should follow. If you're new to
blogging, new to commenting, or not getting what you expected
then read on.

For Commenters:

Of course always check to see if the blog owner has written
rules to go by.

Always use the blogger's name when you reply to their
article. That way they will know for sure you are a real person
and not a spammer or spambot.

Do not add any links to your comments. This is considered bad
unless the site owner has indicated that they don't mind.

Most likely if you add your links in the body it will cause it to
land in the spam folder regardless, so your post is pointless.

Add value or don't even write anything.
"Cool post, man! Thanks!" makes people look a little foolish
to the blogger most times. It also definitely makes you look
like you only want a follow back or attention to a link.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't leave sincerely nice posts to
encourage them and tell them what you got out of their article.

You know where it says to put your name? Please use your name.
My name is not homeprofitschoice.com - my name is Kelly.

Be real! You're not a business you are a person.

Make sure your own blog has catchy titled posts. That way when
you comment on a site that uses certain plugins it will show
the title of your last post with a live link to it. The more
interesting the title, the more click-throughs you will get.

This isn't necessary, but if you want to build a relationship
with the blog owner, tweet their post. Many blogs have this
button front and center and it's just a matter of pushing it.
Blessings come back to those who bless!

For Bloggers:

Some may not agree, but you should answer all comments. If
someone has taken the time to read and answer with their
thoughts, the least you could do is respond. Why? Common
courtesy for one, and the fact that you will score points with
your readers. Don't think for one minute that the commenter won't
come back for another visit to see if you've responded. Everyone
likes to be acknowledged and you might make a new friend or
business partner.

This one is going the extra mile - hop over to the other person's
site, read what they have to say, and leave a comment. You never
know what gems you might pick up along the way and you'll be
building some strong business relationships

One of the premises behind blogging is that it's a means of
conversing. That means you should welcome feedback on what you
wrote and expect some to disagree with you. Be polite and
professional.

It's your weblog, it's your rules, but play fair. Yes, you have
the right to hit the delete button if things get out of hand.

Don't make it hard on your visitors. The more steps you make them
go through to leave a comment, the less eager they will be to do
so. Don't make them create a password and sign in to "speak" to
you. A simple captcha word or a "click here if you're not a
spammer" will suffice.

Commenting on what others have blogged about has many benefits.
Your words can create a lasting impression, and if it's a good
impression you will get traffic. If you show yourself to be
knowledgeable on a subject, your new traffic will become return
readers and buyers. Being courteous to your readers helps build
relationships that turn into advantageous partnerships or
business opportunities

Try This Online Affiliate Marketing Money Making Hack Trick

There are many ways to earn money online but one of the simplest
ways is to use affiliate marketing. One of the big advantages of
affiliate marketing is that it is not necessary for a person to
own a unique product. The affiliate marketer can make money,
essentially a commission, by recommending and selling other
peoples' products.

There are a number of different affiliate marketing strategies,
but here is a good specific strategy that is relatively simple
yet utilizes several current sophisticated features. The first
step is to pick a niche in which there are numerous information
products, such as ebooks, e-courses, or reports, available. A
good idea is to pick a popular niche of personal interest and
then to check the categories in the Marketplace of Clickbank.com,
one of the top information product resources for affiliate
marketers. Select a few products in the niche to promote and
follow the steps to become an affiliate of each of the products
and to gain access to the author's affiliate tools, emails,
images, and banners.

Next, use a keyword research tool, such as the highly regarded
tool offered freely by Google, to find some ideas for a website
domain name. Then, purchase a domain name from one of the many
domain name registrars and select an affordable web host that
allows easy installation of a Wordpress blog.

The reason to use Wordpress is that Wordpress offers a huge
variety of themes and functionality, and the blog platform will
allow one to write interesting reviews and articles.
Additionally, there are article directories and private label
article sources that offer good articles that can be freely
included on the blog site.

Now, select an autoresponder system from among the numerous
reasonably priced autoresponders that are available. This step
will provide the system for creating a series of emails to be
sent to prospective customers and to allow follow up marketing to
those valuable prospects.

Next, using the tools provided by the autoresponder company,
create an opt-in box that will enable the collection of email
addresses from prospective customers. Offer the customer a free
e-course or series of reports that will provide free and useful
information to the prospect. Research private label rights
ebooks in the chosen niche online and use one to create a
multi-part email series that can be loaded into the autoresponder
and sent to the prospect at regular intervals. The benefit of
this step is that in addition to getting the useful information
the prospect can also receive a short promotion about an
appropriate affiliate product that may interest them.

If you want to get started with a free autoresponder,
here's a nice place to start. He also has TONS of Free
advertising sources...

Lastly, open an account with Facebook and create a business page.
The business page should reflect the blog site's domain name.
This Facebook page can then be used to offer bits of information,
advice, pictures, and fun personal notices. The page can also
direct the reader to the main blog site where larger articles and
product reviews can be found, along with the opt-in box and
affiliate product offers.

One of the great things about this specific affiliate marketing
strategy is that once the pieces are in place the strategy can be
easily repeated to create affiliate marketing opportunities in
other niches.

Three Marketing Techniques Every Newbie Should Learn To Master

Three Marketing Tactics That Every Newbie Should Know...

It can be hard for someone who is just starting an online
business on a small budget to know how best to promote their
website and their products or services. However, there are a
number of tried and true ways to bring traffic to a website
that are either free or very inexpensive to do, so the good news for
Internet marketers on a budget is that - yes, it is
possible for you to promote your website and YES you can make a
lot of money on the Internet.

Here are three ways an Internet newbie can build an online
business without busting the bank.

1. Article Writing.

The first thing a newbie Internet marketer should do is to get
into the habit of blogging and posting fresh content on his or
her website. Then, each time you post a fresh article, tweet
about it on Twitter and share it on Facebook and other social
marketing sites.

When writing articles for your website be sure to include some
keywords and keyword phrases that will appeal to your potential
market. You can research keyword phrases at:

adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Next, take the article you posted on your website, rewrite it and
start posting it on some of the major article directories such as
Ezinearticles.com. When you post an article on an article
directory you will be able to add a "blurb" at the foot of the
article about your business and also include a link back to your
website. Again, you can share your article on social marketing

2. Traffic Exchanges

Another way to get traffic to your site is to use traffic
exchanges. When you join a traffic exchange you will be able to
post your web pages and then view other members' pages in order
to earn "credits". If you have 100 credits, you can have your
page shown 100 times to surfers on the traffic exchange.

There is a right way and a wrong way to use traffic exchanges.
Most people fail to use them the right way and then complain that
traffic exchanges "don't work". Actually, traffic exchanges are
very effective, if you know how to use them.

Typical viewing time on a traffic exchange is 6-10 seconds and
most traffic exchange surfers will immediately click to the next
page because they are only there to earn credits to have their
pages viewed.

The trick is to create a "splash page" to catch the traffic
exchange surfers' attention in just a couple of seconds.
Obviously, a full blown sales page will not work on traffic
exchanges because it takes too long to read. A "splash page" is a
much simpler page that uses a few bold words to create curiosity
and interest in what you have to offer. It will also include
either a link for them to click through to your main sales page,
or a short form where they can enter their email address,
subscribe to your list and get further information from you.

With some practice, you should be able to get 30-60 new
subscribers onto your list each month from each of your splash
pages, if you consistently work 5-6 traffic exchanges. Once you
can do that, it will be worth saving your time clicking for
credits and upgrading your membership on the traffic exchanges.
As an upgraded member you receive several hundred credits each
month and a better click rate when you work the exchanges.

3. Build Your List

Getting first time visitors to your website is important, but the
key to succeeding with Internet marketing is to turn first time
visitors into visitors who return to your website again and again
and converting those visitors into customers - regular customers
if possible.

The way to do that is to offer them an incentive to join your
mailing list, some kind of freebie which you give away when they
join your list. If you don't have a mailing list, start building
one today! You will need an autoresponder. There are some free
options out there, but an autoresponder is so important for your
success that you should not mind paying to get a good one.

An autoresponder provides you with the ability to create forms to
place on your website and capture the names and email addresses
of your visitors. You can them contact them via regular
broadcasts or a preloaded series of emails, such as a special
training course, which you use to build up your relationship with
your subscribers.

This article has discussed two ways to get traffic to your
website and one way to turn that traffic into your client base.
It is well worth taking time to do further research on article
marketing, traffic exchanges and list building via a good quality
autoresponder if you are serious about achieving Internet

Article Marketing is a Excellent Way to Boost Business Earnings

Article marketing can be a great way to improve your earnings
when done consistently. The actual writing of each article is
just one thing you need to do. Marketing articles successfully
takes time, patience, skill, knowledge, perseverance, dedication
and creativity. The following information is designed to teach
you some basic strategies and techniques that will help you turn
your articles into profits.

One of the most important steps that you can take is to ensure
that your website is up-to-date. Nothing drives away potential
buyers faster than yesterday's news. Updating and revising the
information on your website should always be considered a
work-in-progress. If you are selling or recommending products,
they need to relate to current trends. Prices must be accurate.
Articles, blogs and other information on your website should be
fresh and creative. Give your visitors a reason to stay and
browse instead of an excuse to say "been there, done that" and
move on to the competition.

Whatever marketing and sales techniques are used in getting
traffic, it's important not to make false or vague claims about
any product. They must meet expectations for you to earn
credibility. You cannot claim that a product is the best, is
better or more effective than other products without providing
proof that the claim is true. Side-by-side comparison charts are
a good way to compare two or more similar products when yours has
more features and benefits than a competitor's product does.

Visitors can be enticed to sign up to your newsletter if you
offer freebies that will be seen as being great value. Do not
insult them by sending them an eBook that they could have found
for free on the internet or a link to a YouTube video. Develop
integrity as a main goal. Treating your customers and potential
customers as you would like to be treated is a great way to build
a loyal following. An extra unannounced bonus is a good
sweetener, too.

Topics that will produce a lot of interest in your niche, are the
best to use in your articles. Do not simply reword interesting
articles that you find on other websites. Write from a different
perspective than the one others are presenting. Visit forums,
read other related blogs and websites, read magazines from your
newsagent or library to get a feel for what is available and what
buyers like and dislike about them. Use their comments to
formulate a relevant topic. Keeping up with current issues, fads
or trends will give you topical material to write about.

"Top Ten" lists or "How To" guides always make popular articles.
Use a title that grabs attention but make sure you follow-up with
the type of content the title suggests. Do not make your list or
guide too general, choose a sub-topic of a popular niche. For
example, if you work in the area of health & beauty, make a top
ten list for teenagers, children, retirees etc, rather than for
the population as a whole.

Once your article marketing plan is in place, focus on it and
stick to it until you are successful. Despite other commitments
and obligations, new articles will be needed every week, so put
aside the time to write them or have them written. You will also
need to keep building back-links on a consistent basis.

Submit your articles to as many directories, blogs and other
relevant websites as possible, over and over again. Send out
newsletters, keep your blog updated, track and analyze your
traffic data, develop new marketing tactics and other internet
marketing techniques that are interrelated to your article
marketing plan.

Your goal is to reach as wide an audience of potential buyers as
possible and bring them to your website to buy your product.
Article marketing can play a huge part in achieving that goal
when you follow your plan.

How The Gurus Make You Buy Their Stuff Even When You Don't Really Want To

It is said that the pen is mightier than the sword. That is so
true especially in internet marketing where there is very little
face-to-face interaction between the marketer and the prospective
customer. Therefore, it is imperative for internet marketers to
'speak' to their prospects through what they write. Successful
internet marketers have learned the art of communicating through
powerful, compelling copy that almost hypnotizes their prospects
into buying their stuff. How do they do it?

Successful internet marketers employ certain tried and true
principles of sales psychology in crafting their copy. Here are
some of those principles.

1. Personalization

People respond to friends more than to acquaintances. The
exception is with someone so well-known in his field of
expertise, like Tony Robbins in self-improvement. Then people
would readily trust in such an expert rather than their close
friend but only when it comes to that expert's area of expertise.
In every other situation, all things being equal, people trust
their own friends more than mere acquaintances.

Thus successful internet marketers know how to befriend you to
gain your trust. They do so in their sales copy and subsequent
follow-up messages. For example, the tone of their words would be
friendly, informal and personable, using personal pronouns as
much as possible. You get the feeling they are talking to you as
if you have known each other for decades. So their emails would
contain your first name rather than 'Dear Sir' or 'Dear Madam'.

Another way successful internet marketers befriend you is by
identifying with you in the problems or issues you might be
facing. If you are reading a website about improving your golf
swing, the marketer might tell you how terrible his own swing was
not too long ago. He speaks as though he were you! Or supposing
you are reading a website about internet marketing, the marketer
may well tell you that he is very fed-up with all those gurus who
mislead newbies like you and that he knows how you feel because
he was once misled also.

Bear in mind that at times the words you read are actually
ghost-written. Obviously no one internet marketer can be
experienced or knowledgeable in so many fields (niches). That's
why all marketers use pen names at times. This way, they assume
different identities according to the different niches they
market to. All these methods are not wrong, as long as the
marketer delivers useful content in a sincere, non-manipulative
and respectful way in all his correspondences with you.

So be aware of what the marketers are trying to do. There are
times you might need to take their words with a pinch of salt.
This leads to the second principle.

2. Engagement

A good novelist always starts by setting the scene of the story.
He gives you the big picture first before thickening the plot and
going into details. The successful internet marketer is no
different, except that the marketer does not have the luxury of
wasting words. He knows he only has 5 seconds to engage with you
otherwise you would move on to another website at the click of
your mouse.

So the first step that every internet marketer makes in engaging
with you is to write an attention-grabbing headline. Headlines
using the words, "How to....", "Discover the ways to...." or "Who
else wants to know the...." are very effective in engaging with
you because it arouses your curiosity. By doing so, the marketer
quickly tells you what's in it for you. All this is well and good
but you must be careful of one thing.

Be careful to analyze the claims of the marketer. They must
fulfill two criteria. It must be believable (not just hype) and
it must be fair (minimum or no risk for you). Successful
marketers make their claims believable and fair through various
means. For example, they use testimonies of people who have
benefited from their products in the past. They may also show you
statistics of their own records (such as their income) or 'before
and after' photos of themselves. To make their offer fair to you,
most marketers give a money back guarantee or include lots of
bonuses with their main product.

3. Action

Everything the marketer has written thus far is geared towards
getting you to take action. It would be either to buy the product
or give your email address or some other form of action.
Successful marketers use two time-tested methods to do so. They
are urgency and scarcity (or a combination of the two). The
urgency method is by saying that there will be a price increase
after a certain time. The scarcity method is by saying there will
only be a limited number of units of the product sold. There are
modifications and combinations of these two methods.

With all this information, you can see through all the gurus'
methods of making you buy their stuff. This will help you be more
selective in buying as well as equip you to make your own offers
to your prospects as well.

List Building Is Important Because You Need Traffic To Get Sales

As an affiliate marketer there are two things that you want more
than anything else, one is traffic and the other is sales. Though
sales will be really limited without traffic, it is possible to
have traffic, yet no sales, which can be totally frustrating. Why
does this happen? There could be a few reasons.

First, you may have selected a market in which people are
strictly looking for free information, never intending to pull
out their wallets. Did you do sufficient market research up front
to know that people are buying what you are selling? You may have
found keywords that have a fair volume of traffic with low
competition and thought you had a goldmine, when in reality, the
competition is low because those keywords are not 'buying'
keywords.

Second, the traffic you are bringing to your site might not be
targeted and therefore they are not interested in what you have
to sell. Depending on the method you are using to drive people to
your site, you may be hosting the wrong people! Ensure the effort
you are putting in to bring people to your site, is focused
toward the target audience who will truly be interested in what
you have to offer.

Here's An Opt-in Page To Build Your Email List Free: CLICK HERE

Third, your site and/or sales page may be lacking. If the product
or service you are offering is truly in demand and you have
targeted traffic coming to your site but you are not making sales
you need to start doing some split-testing on the copy of your
site and/or the look of your site. Solicit input from others if
need be, as to what they like or don't like and start making some
changes.

One other MAJOR factor to consider is this: are you capturing the
name and email address of your visitors? Why you ask? Well the
truth is that the percentage of sales in affiliate marketing,
from first-time visitors is very low. So if your Website is
designed in such a way that you direct your traffic to an
affiliate link without first capturing their contact info, they
will click on the link, check out the product or service and very
likely just continue surfing.

Here's An Opt-in Page To Build Your Email List Free: CLICK HERE

However, if you get them to subscribe to your list and then send
them to your affiliate offer, you then have a means of staying in
contact with them, sending them additional information as well as
links to the affiliate products or services you are promoting. If
you send out valuable information, you will start to build a
rapport with your subscribers and the more they feel they can
trust you, the more likely they are to buy what you're selling.

So, if the answer to, "Who's on your list?" is 'nobody', and you
are serious about building a business then invest some money in
an autoresponder service and start building what is sure to
become, the lifeline of your business - your list.
